Higher Education California

I had not planned on going on to get a graduate degree. Living in California, higher education was not on the top of my list of priorities. You see, there are so many opportunities in California even if you don’t have a higher education. There is Hollywood, there is the environmental non profit community, there are opportunities for starting your own tourism business, high-tech business, or restaurant. California really is the land of opportunity.  So I had no intention of spending all of my time cooped up in school. It isn’t that higher education California isn’t good! Click to Read More

There are a lot of ways that you can study for important exams. The problem is that some can’t just look through a textbook and pick up what they need to know. I know that when I was in college, I always took really great notes in class and always tried to study my text book, but I never did as well as I wanted to do on my exams. One roommate I had suggested that I try practice exams. Though it was a bit of extra work, the extra work did the trick. Perhaps this is why I had so many problems with my math lessons when I was in high school. When I had math lessons in elementary school I really didn’t have a problem. In fact, I Click to Read More

At the young age of 13, I had just moved to a new area, and started in a new middle school. It took only a few days before some random 14 year old punched me. And I mean he literally socked me right in the jaw, while I was minding my own business, standing Click to Read More

Online College Courses

It used to be that education by way of online learning or what is called distance learning or distance education–was implemented as a supplement to the brick-and-mortar classroom (or conference room) teaching and learning methods and materials.
